The origins of the Park
You push through the gate and the modern world fades away. The blacksmith's hammer rings between the stone walls. The smell of fresh bread drifts through the lane. Further on, the Ferris wheel turns slowly above the village rooftops.
Children run towards the carousel. Grandparents stop at the cutler's, fascinated by gestures they once knew. You sit in the shade, watch the potter at his wheel, listen to the silence between two strikes of the anvil.
At Le Bournat, nobody explains the past to you. You live it.
